Much champion blood on offer by RR Bloodstock at BBAG Yearling Sale

Last year Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock could close the BBAG Yearling Sale as the auction's top consignor, and looking at this year's lot the chances for a similar result are not bad for the Bloodstock agency.

The 14-head lot includes eight fillies and six colts, whose outstanding pedigrees leave any future owners with legitimate hopes for the future. In almost every one of the fourteen pedigrees, champion horses of international caliber can be found. For example, a brother to the current fourth-place of the Gr.1 Dallmayr Preis from the family of the champion mare QUEBRADA, who is by the three-time German champion Sire SOLDIER HOLLOW, is on offer (Lot 155) as well as a colt out of a sister to the champion horse and stallion NOVELLIST (Lot 53). Lot 57, a filly out of a full sister to the Gr.1-placed PAGELLA, out of a sister to the Derby hero and three-time Gr.1 winner and successful sire PASTORIUS, and Lot 161, a filly from the family of the champion mare OCCUPANDISTE, which includes the Arlington Million winner MONDIALISTE and the champion INTELLO, also have a stallion in their close family. Her sire is none other than the top-sire FRANKEL.

Internationally proven dam lines can also be found in Lot 208, a mare from the highly successful Röttgen family of WILD ROMANCE, to which this year's German Oaks runner-up WAGNIS belongs in addition to numerous top mares, or Lot 63, a filly out of the classic winner SCATINA from the family of the great SLENDERELLA.
