RR Bloodstock consigments at Tattersalls Foal Sale

The Tattersalls Foal Sale ends today and even before the gate closes we can celebrate a good result. Three of the four foals offered by Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock were sold, one was withdrawn. Top sale was a colt by Caravaggio (Lot 938) from Dr. Christoph Berglar's breeding operation out of the Schwarzgold winner Peace Royale (Lot 937), whose offspring include the Gr.3 winner PEACE IN MOTION and multiple Listed winner PEACE SOCIETY. The colt was knocked down to Fairway Partners for 82,000 guineas.
A colt by Night of Thunder went to BBA Ireland for 80,000 guineas. He is the second foal of the Campanologist mare WALDBLÜTE, a daughter of the great WURFTAUBE, who belongs to a highly successful international family that produced, among others, the Derby winner WALDPARK and the Arc hero WALDGEIST. Also consigned was a filly by the Monson son PROTECTIONIST out of Aisling Verse (Lot 872), an unraced sister to the top sire TEOFILO. The filly was purchased for 6,000 guineas by Carrie Wright and Mark Buckley.
