BBAG consignment TÜNNES takes G3 Herzog von Ratibor-Rennen

The €50,000 G3 Herzog von Ratibor-Rennen atKrefeld saw a winner consigned by Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock for €38,000 at the BBAG Yearling Sale last year. Trained by Peter Schiergen for Holger Renz, TÜNNES was touted as the 2022 Derby favourite even before the last Group race of the season, a position he more than confirmed with this win.
We anticipate the coming year with much curiosity, because TÜNNES is no less than the half-brother of this year's Arc winner Torquator Tasso by Guilani out of the fantastically successful family of Allegretta, dam of the great Urban Sea, herself dam of Galileo and Sea The Stars.
