GROCER JACK shines bright in G3 Preis der deutschen Einheit

Following a great second place in the G1 Grosser Dallmayr Preis, Dr. Christoph Berglar's GROCER JACK entered the stalls as the logical favorite in the G3 Preis der deutschen Einheit at Berlin-Hoppegarten, and the four-year-old fulfilled all hopes accordingly. The Waldemar Hickst-trained four-year-old by Oasis Dream was always prominently positioned by jockey Alexander Pietsch in the €50,000 challenge over 2000 metres, kicked off beautifully along the inner rails and secured a fine win by a length after a thrilling run in the final straight.
GROCER JACK, whose dam GOOD DONNA was acquired by RR Bloodstock for Dr. Christoph Berglar, will be offered at Tattersalls by the end of this month.
