DURANCE 750k top seller at Arqana for RR Bloodstock

Today, Deauville's Breeding Stock Sale ended with a fantastic result from the perspective of Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock, who consigned the top seller of the auction sale DURANCE. The four-year-old by Champs Elysees was bred by Gestüt Ebbesloh, hence spotlighting German thoroughbred breeding in a very special way. Winning the G2 Gran Premio di Milano and placing twice at G1 level, DURANCE closes her active career with a rating of 100. She was purchased by the US based Pursuit Of Success LC for whom she will likely start her second career as a broodmare in the U.K.

With Gestüt Wittekindshof bred SATOMI, who spent her active career racing in the colours of Stall Helena, yet another German product generated a top price. The filly by Teofilo, who was given a rating of 109, is a daughter of the Champion2YO Swordhalf. The hammer fell at €300,000 for SATOMI in favour of Oceanic Bloodstock Inc.
NINFEA also achieved a great result. The half-sister to NOVELLIST whose second product NEMEAN LION finished second at G2 level last October at Longchamp is in foal to Nathaniel. She left the ring at €220,000 for David Redvers.

Out of eleven fillies and mares consigned by RR Bloodstock nine were sold to an avarage price of €161,278 which is a great result given the special circumstances that marked this particularly challenging year.
