RED CARDINAL back to winners circle down under

Back to the winners circle was the motto for the Kris Lees-trained RED CARDINAL today. The Montjeu-son, who we acquired for Australian Bloodstock in 2016, recorded his second consecutive win in Rosehill, Australia when he took the AUS$350,000 G3 Sky High Stakes over 2000 m under Kevin McEvoy. This was the third success at group level for the seven-year-old, who won Germany's longest group race, the G2 Oleander-Rennn, in Hoppegarten in 2017 (photo).
